Leaders Homes Reports 4Q Results
Despite lagging market conditions, Leaders Homes continues to report strong growth. Our strong balance sheet will position us well for success as market conditions recover.

WASHINGTON, DC, February 03, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Building and Construction PR News/24-7PressRelease/ -- Northern Virginia based remodeling company, Leaders Homes, Llc has announced a profitable fourth quarter. "Sales and revenue for the full service construction firm have increased by 112%." According to Business Development Director, Christine Vandevender. "This is entirely attributed to our dedicated staff and an extremely strong company culture. Every employee has had great opportunities to lead Leaders Homes in this past year in its rise to becoming one of the regions most respected remodeling companies. We are forging ahead into the first quarter of 2010 with record efficiencies in our sales efforts. We have surpassed our projections despite the negative effects of the housing market. Our field team has proven time and time again that you should never under estimate the power of dedicated quality workmanship."

As a part of its expansion efforts into new markets for 2009 Leaders Homes established its Commercial Division. Having commercial marketing presence has allowed a leading number of innovative new projects that will keep Leaders Homes at the forefront of the remodeling industry.

Greg Vandevender, managing partner is extremely optimistic that the housing market will continue to move towards stabilization as more confident home buyers take advantage of increased affordability and the $8,000 federal tax credit that was extended last November.

Homeowner improvement spending is likely to reach a cyclical bottom in the current quarter and steadily increase through 2010 according to the Leading Indicator of Remodeling Activity (LIRA), released today by the Remodeling Futures Program at the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University. The LIRA projects annual declines in home improvement spending will ease from the current rate of 12.0 percent to 3.1 percent in the third quarter of 2010.

The Associated General Contractors of America construction employment statistics from August 2008 to August 2009 shows the D.C. metro area lost seven percent of its construction workforce with 900 jobs lost. Our organization outlined a plan this week to revive some of those jobs lost in the industry. The move will be directed into the second quarter.

Reporting strong growth in fiscal first-quarter, "We anticipate orders to continue to increase, aided by new expansions still in discussion and the recovering markets. We also foresee that pricing will remain under pressure in the near-term which slightly impacts the continued momentum in our forecast but will not hinder our company's outlook for the year."
