"Get Organized" Month 2010 Presented by NAPO-WDC
IKEA and NAPO-WDC Partner to Observe the Sixth Annual "Get Organized" Month to Provide all the Tools You Need to "Get Organized" Under One Roof!


WOODBRIDGE, VA, January 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Having trouble sticking to those New Year's resolutions to become better organized? You are not alone. Although just about everyone seems to understand the benefits of being organized, it can be hard to figure out where to start. Thankfully, there's Get Organized (GO) Month - a national event every January sponsored by the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), an organization dedicated to developing, leading and promoting Professional Organizers.

Recent survey data indicates that 96 percent of 400 adults polled said they would save time every day by becoming more organized. As a result, the National Association of Professional Organizers - Washington, DC Metro Chapter (NAPO-WDC) and IKEA have teamed up to help you get organized in 2010. Given the expertise of NAPO-WDC's professional organizers and the vital tools provided by IKEA, getting organized will be a breeze! Using the beginning of a new year to implement tools that will improve your life can help you become more organized, save time and money, increase productivity, enhance one's quality of life and even reduce stress.

IKEA Woodbridge, VA and NAPO-WDC are hosting two Saturday events in January with presentations on various topics focusing on how to get organized in your Kitchen, Living rooms, Home Office, Closets and Children's Bedrooms. There will also be random prizes and gift cards given to those attending the workshops. Additional information on these two events is below.

What: Workshop: IKEA & NAPO-WDC: Get Organized!
Session 1: 11:00am-11:30am and Session 2: 1:00pm-1:30pm ET

IKEA Woodbridge and NAPO-WDC are teaming up during GO Month to offer seminars on organizing your home and/or business. There will be two events: Saturday, January 9 and Saturday, January 23. Each event will consist of two sessions with four simultaneous, short seminars covering organizing kids' rooms, kitchens, home offices and closet/wardrobes. Each seminar is limited to 25 people on a first come, first serve basis.
