PriceEvaluation.com Announces New Federal Price Evaluation Program
Price Evaluation Training has made available a new online course that covers the spectrum of activities that affect Federal acquisitions: including the Purchase Team and Planning, required ethical conduct, specification, contract types, and technical and price evaluation factors.
ARLINGTON, VA, February 26, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- It includes a discussion of cost accounting and cost estimating systems. It identifies the factors that should ordinarily be considered in establishing and evaluating profit. Also, the practical exercises provide valuable experience.
The 40-hour computer based training (CBT) does not rely on scrolling screens of texts, but uses linking of information in a fashion that makes for uncluttered screens and the availability of information when relevant and the student has an incentive to learn it. The CBT is very interactive.
It provides the price evaluator more than 250 interactions and provides more than 500 choices. It segments training modules into manageable 30 to 45 minute periods before quizzing. It records, tracks, and accumulates scoring for ready access. Upon completion of the course, the student can evaluate course and print from within the application the 'Certificate of Completion.'
The CBT, delivered completely from the price evaluator's personal computer (pc), includes two accompanying support manuals: 1. The Instructor's Guidance Manual-which provides the information about various sections of the CBT, how use the CBT resources, and how to prepare for and take the practical exercises and quizzes; and 2. The Student Workbook-which provides an opportunity to work the more involved exercises outside of the application before inputting results for scoring and performance tracking. The Workbook is a Microsoft Excel Workbook and is designed to be used from the price evaluator's pc.
