Non Profit Fundraising: Success Even in Historical Economic Times
Two organizations have just been selected to participate in the We Need Funds NOW! Challenge and will raise $20,000 in 30 days.

Kristy Hall, a non profit speaker and consultant who created the Nonprofit Super Series: We Need Funds NOW! program to help non profit organizations learn how to raise funds fast is stepping up to help organizations do just that ¡V raise money fast. Hall will help two U.S. grassroots non profit organizations to implement the strategies and techniques in the We Need Funds NOW! program to raise $20,000 in 30 days.

We Need Funds NOW! Challenge ¡V Who¡¦s Participating

Although many deserving organizations applied, only two organizations were selected to participate in the We Need Funds NOW! Challenge ¡V The Student Movement for Real Change and One Home Many Hopes. These organizations demonstrated enormous passion, dedication, organization and commitment.

Student Movement for Real Change (SMRC) (www.StudentMovementUSA.org) Student Movement for Real Change (SMRC) in D.C. provides training, travel and support programs for young leaders to develop sustainable health and education solutions through social entrepreneurship in developing communities worldwide. Their mission is to empower promising young leaders to innovate through entrepreneurial development programs that combat the most serious global health and education issues of our time.

One Home Many Hopes (www.OneHomeManyHopes.org) is a loving home for orphaned girls in Mtwapa, Kenya. With their US office in Boston, One Home Many Hopes provides former Kenyan street children with a nurturing environment, focused schooling and a chance at a healthy and productive life. Known in Kenya as ¡§Mudzini Kwetu¡¨, their philosophy is that education and family support are the most effective ways to lift our children out of cyclical poverty.

Based on the principles and strategies in the Nonprofit Super Series: We Need Funds NOW!, Hall will work with these two organizations so that within 30 days the organizations will

„X Determine a plan to approach these donors
„X Create a process to strengthen donor relationships
„X Execute their fundraising campaign plan
„X Raise $20,000

All funds will go directly to the organizations selected to participate in the Challenge, and these organizations will be featured in a subsequent case study on successful fundraising.
