The site, www.VirginiaWineEvents.com, is a convenient way for the wineries of Virginia to anounce their events to the public. The site offers wineries the ability to announce their events as they develop or modify their event schedules. The service is offered free of charge to the wineries. In addition, the site will be free for event management firms who need to generate more exposure for their wine related events.

The site is designed to fill a need for the wine industry to conveniently announce their events beyond the traditional printed brochures. The printed brochures have a number of disadvantages including a limitation of the winery's exposure and the requirement for substantial advance planning on the part of the winery. The Wine Events web site resolves these problems.
